Day X

I looked in the mirror this morning and I decided I should do my hair, tomorrow. I woke up before 7, ran upstairs (that’s right, I’m the stair master now…no more huffing and puffing) and made a little breakfast. Everyone, well most everyone, pitches in and makes one thing for breakfast and everyone eats. After breakfast I went to the exercise room and worked out for an hour and watched Ellen.

Now the thing about me and exercise is that after not having worked out for several weeks, I think I can just pick up where I left off. I see a piece of exercise equipment and I get puffed up…it’s a challenge. I felt good when I got off the machine, but my legs are like, we will fold on you if you do that again without warning! My gastrocnemius muscle is tight!

Then, I guess I fell out and bumped my head and when I woke up decided to play ping pong. That was more of a workout. Throwing in the towel for the day, I retreated to my room for about 2 hours to listen to my show and then I showered and dressed. I fired up the grill for the first time and made some hot dogs for everyone. Then I just hung around the house, took a little snooze, mouth wide open. Dinner was great. Served with piano classics and jazz playing in the background and a strong drink. I washed the dishes, with help. Yeah there are about 5 dish washing machines here, but I don’t mind, put some music on and I’m forever, or until my sciatic nerve shuts me down. I was in my hostess mode.

Talent night is scheduled for one day this week and my sisnlaw asked me what was I doing for talent night. I said, nothing. Maybe I’ll comb my hair, that will take some real talent on my part.
