Hey RMR

i'm glad you don't remember crap either. i thought i was the only one...it's like i have no darn stories to tell my kid because i don't remember...man when i saw that book, i was thrilled. i had her read it to me. i look at it everday too. i called my mom and asked if she remember me having it. i feel like i should go the library and have people hold up books to me like those darn ink blobs shrinks hold to their patients to see what memory i might recall.

I am like you and others, I remember practically nothing about my childhood. I remember a couple of things from junior high, a few more (but not much) from high school and even though you called me old and I'm not, I do not even remember much from my 20's. So thank you for writing this because you all just made me feel better.

I work at a library & occasionally come across a book I treasured as a child. It hits me like a forgotten ton of bricks. I love to reread those old books. :)

Actually I had the dream many, many, times until I was about 8 or 9 years old. Then it stopped and has never happened since. It is weird, I know but I guess it like seeing a ghost or aliens! LOL! If it happens to you, you are a true believer, if it doesn't there is no way to truly believe. I feel certain I know something about a universal consciousness, but never try to convince anyone else that I am right about the details.

Thanks Will I don't feel so bad now. I do remember stuff here and there, but I feel like I slept through my childhood and woke up at work.

I suffered a fall as a child and had a head injury, maybe I can blame it on that.

Hmm, that's some re-occurring dream, go back to sleep and fill us in on the details.

I pretty much remember nothing before about age 12 or 13. I don't know if that is unusual or not, but I did read somewhere that most of what people think they remember about their childhood is from stories told by older family members. This might be why so many people only remember some events, those were the events that were retold as they grew older.

I do have one partial memory of a re-occurring dream I had when very young. I don't remember all the details, but it was a dream that at the time I did not understand as it was very adult in nature. By that I don't mean R rated or anything, just adult concepts and from an adults viewpoint. That one childhood memory set in stone certain beliefs I have about a so called "cosmic consciousness" which is where the common human belief of life after death and reincarnation come from.

How's that for an only childhood memory to have? LOL!

Hey Binary

Okay I know you're not supposed to remember too much about your childhood, but I remember very little. Now that I see the pictures, I remember the book like I never forgot about it. The mind is amazing, when it's working. :)

I remember only bits and pieces of my childhood, and sometimes that same thing happens to me. Someone will mention something that triggers a memory. It's always nice when that happens. :-)
