Money Monday Tip #4

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Albert Einstein

If you are like most Americans, chances are you are dependent upon your next paycheck just to meet your monthly expenses. Today the normality is that most people live paycheck-to-paycheck and almost everybody seems to be struggling to make ends meet.

So how can we stop living from paycheck to paycheck? One way is to make better choices when it comes to what we might have to spend our money on. We can’t continue with the same irresponsible behavior with money and expect different results.

Everyone’s situation is different, but perhaps we need to look at what we choose to spend money on to see where change is necessary. Dave Ramsey often says sometimes we are looking for a math solution to a behavioral problem.

Be different, normal is broke!

its true, theres a stage in life when you need to start thinking on what your spending your money on, you dont need to stop living, thats wrong, you have to feel good from time to time, and if spending money makes you feel good, you need to do it from time to time, but still, you have to sit down and see how can i make my personal choices better to pull me off the paycheck to paycheck living style

    Hi Ori

We’ve all done some not so smart things with money, I’m one of them. I know people who make $100,000 and live paycheck to paycheck and I know people who make $45,000 and are doing well, so some of it has to be about choices.

Yes, no need to stop living, have fun with money, but do count the cost!
