<description>Yeah Tondy, disappearing acts. Good for the soul every once in a while. 70$ sounds like a lot of money in any currency.

Corrina, I dislike the hamster..she's not friendly either. Still haven't found the food, no way she ate it all. $30 bucks, you too. I can go 10 days w/o refilling, which is not too bad.

Well Lana, it wasn't that tough..probably had more to do with the timing of things..like what next. I like my boring so called life. $35..I'm about where you are.

<description>I'm sorry you had a tough week. &#60;:( *hug* Mine wasn't so bad. It costs me about $35 to fill my tank these days, but that's what I was paying in Canada, so I guess I'm used to it.

<description>Wow... That's quite a week! The hamster thing made me laugh... They're sneaky little things, aren't they? lol...

And it costs me about $30 to fill my tank. At least it did the last time I bothered. I have mini heart attacks when I do that, so I don't anymore.

<description>Now I understand why you needed to do the same thing I did for the past few weeks - disappear! Okay it takes $70 to fill up my car, well NZ$ (NZ$1 - US$0.80) and it keeps going up every week. I hope next week will be a little better

<description>CardioGirl - $61 american dollars? O--&#62;--&#60; (that's me passed out). I hate putting gas in my car and usually ride until it's passed E, but I was right there and said let me stop. i'm assuming a full tank would have cost me 35$-$37$. I do think I will start having it filled at 1/2 tank instead of on empty.

Jillian, it was a long week and I'm due for another Vegetate Day. 50$ bucks? How come gas stations don't have a lay-a-way plan. Rent to own? This is crazy. I remember when, well, when gas was cheap! Wow you're learning to drive a school bus and a stick, cool. You'll get it..took me 10 days before I could drive w/o the car cutting off and yes I held up traffic several times, but it's a pleasurable experience, I love shifting. Just want to try out a faster car. Yeah the first lesson will make you want to rethink driving at all...do not despair! Thanks for sharing your week with me...its nice to see what goes on behind the blog.

		<description>After a week like that I certainly see why you're glad it's over! :-)

The H and I drive a Camaro, it's costs $50 to fill up. And we both drive fast :-(

My week? I've started my schoolbus lessons. I have to learn to drive a bus AND drive a stick at the same time. The first day I got behind the wheel the instructor takes me on a busy street with cars honking and pulling around me, etc etc. I was SO nervous and a little upset that he couldn't find somewhere with a lot less traffic. So that sucked.

Also, I'm having trouble maintaining my speed when I need to push the clutch in and shift. I get nervous and wind up going to slow. But I think I would learn faster if I didn't have the added stress of cars on the road and all the other things that come with that. Argh. I felt very discouraged after the first lesson. :-(

<description>I hit an all-time high with $61 to fill our minivan. I guess the tank is very mini, is it? In the good old days it cost about $40 to $50 to fill it.

Like Barbara, I prefer to play the game of filling it at half empty to keep my adrenaline in line.

<description>Barbara I would like to take the credit for thinking of an extension cord as a temporary fix, but I'm not that smart.
Really, I pop my car in and out of gear quite often. If my clutch dies, I'll know why. I need to learn how not to drive in circles. I get lost a lot, so I kind of have to stay on my path...</description>
