We Interrupt This Program….
no, i still don’t have a constant internet connection, they who shall remain nameless will be here tomorrow to fix it.
i’m still behind in my internet activities, but the good news is that i’ve managed to complete some things around the house, like clean out my refrigerator. the bad news is that now i can see i have no food. it almost seems cheaper to eat out than to buy groceries.
it was nice having a three day weekend, most of the time i spent in the house cleaning and organizing stuff. i pulled out some old music cds, strapped on my tens unit for endurance and pretended to be on soul train.
i think i released too many feel good endorpines in the process, now i’m just in cleaning mode and don’t feel like going back to work, but i don’t get paid to stay home.
i need a vacation then.
we have tentative plans for canada in august and have to take the kid to get her passport, uh soon. oh, i got my passport back and it only took a week. i was so sure that they were going to send it back to me with a rejection letter saying the picture was too hideous and to re-take it.
i even showed it to my mom and she opened and closed it like it was kryptonite. what happened to having a face only a mother could love? she didn’t get the manual on parental behavior when kids bring home ugly art work. you smile at it anyway. my pillar of truth, my mom. gotta get her some acting lessons.
the regular schedule of this blog will resume, soon. here’s a video i made (with music) of my fish fighting over food. i have a new found respect for video editors.

Cleaning out the fridge is always a little disappointing when you are finished. I am laughing because I have often thought that with TGIFridays having 5.99$ meals available on their menu’s that eating OUT probably has become CHEAPER than eating IN. Considering a gallon of milk is more expensive than a gallon of gas.
Oh and I LOVE to pretend I am on Soul Train. If Soul Train was SOLID GOLD.
Video Editing? Thats NO FREAKING JOKE. It takes me weeks sometimes months to get the timing just right.

Don’t you just love that cleaning energy you get once in a blue moon - I love it when it happens but my husband wants to spend all the money in the world cloning that thing that happens, neither one of us understands the phenomenon at all.
I know you’ll be happy to get internet back again and we’ll all be glad to have you back amongst the daily bloggers.
I think the length of time required to get a passport depends on the time of year. I think you’ll be safe to get it back within 2ish weeks right now because so many people have opted out of traveling this summer.

what’s up meleah! well the guy who shall remain nameless arrived before 7 a.m. and i just watched him from the window, i was tempted to drag him in the house and make him get to work, but i waited patiently until 7 when he promptly rung the bell. he changed the splitter on the outside of the house, so it was “working”. when i got home last night, guess what, no connection. i called his boss. later on it worked, when i get home it will probably be gone again. so i’m at work, responding and creeping.
just think baking soda, water and well now a bottle of wine. there’s nothing in that puppy. i went to shoprite and didn’t even bother with a cart, i took a freaking hand basket into the store. can’t afford to buy much. i guess i’ll go shopping soon, but i need a strategy to go grocery shopping! i need hamburger helper to go long. $5.99 for a meal works for me, i guess i’ll finally lose that 20 lbs i’ve been carrying around for the last 10 years.
i can’t imagine looking at hours of video tape and editing all of it. i had only 10 minutes of video which i edited down to a little over a minute. not easy.
greetings tondy. thanks. i thought it was funny too. it’s wonderful when animals earn their keep by entertaining people. rocky is a bully, he eats everything!!! i think the other fish, sylvester, is just dumb, sometimes it’s like he’s on the lookout for the big fish while he eats all the food. i thought about going to verizon, it’s possible.

mamaflo, yeah i love it, there’s something exhilarating about seeing things neatly stacked or being in an organized home. better than looking at clutter. i remember when you did your last cleaning and posted the pics on your blog. i’m going to get some more house plants today and do some light decorating. the living room needs a makeover. i was surprised i got my passport back so fast. imagine if i would have lost my mind and paid extra for them to expedite it.
shilpan, it is very calming and the fish are fun to watch. it’s beautiful to look at when it’s dark and the tank lights up the living room.

what’s up monique! i really should clean it out once a week, but i don’t. when i was done, i said, what happened to the food? i thought about putting stuff back just to make it look like we have something to eat. i go to shoprite several times a week, where is the food? maybe i need to start making pans of stuff to take up the space. a pan of mac and cheese, a pan of lasagna and get some tupper wear in there too and make it look like we have leftovers. depressing. i am getting a little annoyed now with my connection, play time is almost over for them. i’ll be stopping by your blog soon. will work for stress? oh no, what happened?
cardiogirl, i used to love soul train, watched it all the time, but stopped watching it for years. i watched it occasionally when shemar moore was the host, but whooo weee, it changed and so did the people, not for the better either. i also watched american bandstand and solid gold as well.
*Sympie hug on the internet* “Progress” can be such a pain in the @$$, y’know? I can sympathize on the passport picture & others. I look like I have a moustache in my driver’s license picture. Good thing I’m mostly past the point of caring anymore! *L* Love your fish–am considering getting some, myself.

Chris, I still laugh at that video. The guy who did the music is really talented, it goes well with the movie. I think there are a few people, like 5, who have decent passport/license pictures.
